Overview

A dispatch business runs two or three motorcycles and riders who deliver parcels, food and medicine within a city. Your clients are Instagram and WhatsApp sellers, restaurants and pharmacies that need items delivered the same day. Online selling keeps growing in Nigerian cities, and most small sellers cannot afford their own rider, so a dependable dispatch service is something they will pay for every week.

You earn per delivery or through monthly contracts with regular clients, with fuel, rider pay and maintenance taking a large share. The hard part is not the bikes but the riders: honesty, punctuality and how cash and parcels are handled. State rules on commercial motorcycles also vary, and some areas restrict them. It suits someone firm and organised who can manage people, plan routes and keep clients informed.

Works well in Lagos, Abuja (FCT), Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, Benin City
